Recommendations on the use of Mixed PK-62 for calves 0-6 months
Accustoming to mixed fodder begins with 4-5 days of life.
The amount of mixed fodder per head from 0 to 6 months is 230-240 kg.
The period of growing calves in the first 6 months of life is characterized by continuous changes in the digestive system. This is due to the fact that the calf is born capable of absorbing exclusively the nutrients of milk - milk protein, fat and sugar. Therefore, it must be fed so that the animal quickly and painlessly switched from dairy to vegetable nutrition. Only in this case is it possible to significantly save milk, quickly reveal the genetic potential of the animal, reduce the consumption of expensive feed and a high conversion of nutrients to the production of the body of a young animal.
Having reached the volume of calf eating 1.5-2.0 kg of feed, you can refuse from the ZTSM.
Thus, for 6 months of growing calves according to the proposed scheme is achieved:
minimum consumption of milk fodder (120-180 kg of milk and 230 kg of MWC);
the maximum growth of the animal and the optimal transition from dairy to vegetable nutrition;
the average daily growth in young animals over a period of 800-850 g;
total body weight gain of at least 155 kg per period, the live weight of one head is 185-200 kg at the end of the period;
strengthening the immune system;
reduction of the mortality of young animals;
getting large groups of young with an ideal exterior and readiness for the next stage of intensive cultivation;
minimum costs for effective feeding.
It is recommended to use this mixed feed together with the ZTsM.
Also, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with a more detailed calves feeding program from 0 to 6 months old.
